Inventory table: the market position of every vehicle
The inventory table gives every VIN a price rank, a target price and a comparison count, with columns you choose and row actions to edit, watch, sell or remove.
Which cars on my lot are priced out of line with the market this week? The inventory table answers that at a glance. It shows the market position of every vehicle on your lot, new and used, as one row: where the car ranks on price against the comparable cars for sale near you, the one price move your pricing strategy suggests today, and how many listings that reading is based on. Nothing here changes a price on your website. It is the place you read the market before you decide.
Left to right, a row shows Vehicle (photo, year, make, model, trim, VIN and a New or Used badge), Price with Your: price and Based on … listings, then Position & Target. That cell reads, for example, #27 of 70 for the 27th cheapest of 70 cars like it nearby, you included, and above it the move: Cut to or Raise to a price, or Hold when the car is already at your target. Hover the cell for the full explanation in plain English. Days, Odometer, Added and Notes follow. Click a header to sort, click again to flip, and click any row to open the competing cars behind its numbers.
A useful routine is a Monday pass: sort by Position & Target so the biggest moves come first, work down the list, and correct any figure the feed got wrong by clicking the price or the Odometer value; the row is then marked Adjusted. A globe icon next to the listing count means too few comparable cars sat inside your radius and we widened the search, so read that row with care. Columns opens Manage Columns to switch columns on or off and drag them into your order; column widths drag too, and both are remembered in this browser.
Every count on this screen rolls up into Your lot, and a click on a row opens the Vehicle view.

- Hold — already at your target; leave it alone.

Position and Target is the column to read. For example, number twenty-seven of seventy means your car is the twenty-seventh cheapest of seventy cars like it nearby, counting yours. Cut to, or Raise to, is the one move your strategy suggests today, and, for example, lands number ten is where the car sits after it. Hold means you are already at your target.

Frequently asked questions
What does the price rank per VIN, for example "#27 of 70", mean?
It is the position of your asking price among the comparable cars for sale within your radius, counted from the cheapest and including your own car. #27 of 70 means twenty-six similar cars are listed below your price and forty-three above it. The count of comparable listings is shown in the Price column as Based on … listings, and the rank uses the same radius, trim match, model year, condition and odometer filters as the rest of the app.
How is the target price per vehicle calculated?
Position & Target applies your pricing strategy to that one car: it takes the tier you chose, for example Top 10, and works out the price that would land the car there, then applies your guardrails such as the biggest cut in one step and the minimum number of competitors. The cell shows the move as Cut to or Raise to a price, or Hold when the car is already at target, and, for example, lands #10 says where the car would sit after that move. Hover the cell for the full reasoning.
Can I fix a wrong price or odometer reading in the inventory table?
Yes. Click the price or the Odometer figure in the row, enter the correct value and press Save Price. The row is marked Adjusted and every rank and target is recalculated from the corrected figure. The correction lives in Inventory Analytics only; it does not change your website or feed.
What does the globe icon next to a vehicle mean?
Too few comparable cars were for sale inside your radius, so the search was widened until enough were found. Hover the globe to see how far it went and how many cars it found. Prices far from home can differ, so the Trust widened radius guardrail decides whether such rows still get a Cut to or Raise to suggestion.
Can I choose which columns the inventory table shows?
Yes. Columns opens Manage Columns, where you switch each column on or off, drag the handle to reorder and press Apply. Reset to default brings the standard layout back. Column widths drag from the edge of any header, and both the layout and the widths are remembered in the browser you set them in.
