The first thing a manager wants from a dealer inventory dashboard is one answer: how many of my cars are priced right today, and which ones need a move? Your lot is the card at the top of Inventory Analytics that gives that answer for the whole store before you open a single vehicle. Every number on it is built from the same comparable listings the rest of the app uses, cut to your radius and match settings, so the card and the table below it never disagree.

The top row names the store and its location, links to the associated website, and holds My rooftops, where you tick which dealer names and websites count as yours. On a limited plan a Plan bar shows how many vehicle slots are in use. Under that sit Total Vehicles, the count of cars listed right now, and In Top N, how many ranked cars already sit inside the target rank of your pricing strategy, green at seventy percent or better. The ring on the right sorts every scored car into Cut, Raise and Hold. The line under the card says how fresh the market prices are, counts how many cars could be ranked and rated, and on a full account offers Recompute now.

A useful weekly routine is to open the lot on Monday, read the freshness line first, then the ring. For example, if Cut shows nine cars, those nine are the ones sitting above your target spot, and the same nine appear in the Price Intel. action list. Change prices on your website, press Recompute now, and watch the count fall. The target itself lives in Pricing strategy, and every vehicle behind the counts is a row in the inventory table.

04 Cut, raise, or hold

  • Cut — priced above your target spot; a cut would move them in.
  • Raise — already inside the target, with room to raise and stay.
  • Hold — nothing to do today, or too few similar cars to call it.
  • The same three counts drive the Price Intel action list.

The ring sorts every car into three moves. Cut means the car sits above your target spot, and a price cut would move it in. Raise means it is already inside, with room to raise and stay there. Hold means nothing to do today, or too few similar cars nearby to call it.

Frequently asked questions

How do I see how many cars are priced right on my lot?

Read the In Top N figure on the Your lot card. It shows how many ranked cars already sit inside the target rank your pricing strategy aims for, for example "12 of 40", with a percentage next to it. Green means seventy percent or more of your ranked cars are inside the target; amber and red mean there is work to do.

What do Cut, Raise and Hold mean on the dealer inventory dashboard?

Cut means the car sits above your target spot, so a price cut would move it in. Raise means it is already inside the target with room to raise the price and stay there. Hold means nothing to do today, either because the car is already where you want it or because there are too few similar cars nearby to call it. The same three counts drive the Price Intel action list.

Why does my lot show the wrong cars or miss some?

Open My rooftops in the top row of the card. It lists every dealer name we found for your business, grouped by physical address, plus a Direct from your websites option that includes every vehicle read straight from your own site even when the listing carried a different dealer name. Tick the rooftops that are yours and the lot is filtered to them.

How fresh are the market prices behind these numbers?

The line under the card tells you. "Market prices are current" means the math was redone within the last four hours, which is how often it runs automatically. The chip next to it counts how many cars we could rank and how many have enough comparables to be rated. On a full account, Recompute now redoes the math this second, which is handy right after you change prices; it takes about fifteen seconds and can be used once every ten minutes.

Does the card change when I change the radius or trim match?

Yes. Every number on the card follows your radius and match settings. If your own search settings differ from the team default, the line under the card says you are previewing and offers Save as team default; until you save, prices are worked out for the cars on screen as you scroll rather than ahead of time.
